About Sunnycott Caravan Park

Sunnycott Caravan Park is a small, quiet, rural, family owned and run Park consisting of 20 caravans. It is conveniently situated about 1 ½ miles from the world famous yachting town of Cowes on the north eastern side of the Island where, throughout the summer, all types of boating activities take place culminating in Cowes Week at the beginning of August and with the Power Boat Race shortly afterwards. Thorness and Gurnard beaches are both within walking distance and a bus service passes the entrance of the Park.

The luxury caravans sleep 4 or 6 and comprise one or two bedrooms; they are connected to all main services and include a colour television. They are equipped with quilts, pillows, china, cooking utensils, toaster etc and the Executive caravans are also equipped with a microwave oven. Please note that sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels are not provided although the appropriate bed linen can be hired if required (please see Booking Form). Cots and highchairs can also be hired.

More than the maximum number of persons, i.e. 4 or 6, including babies, must not occupy each unit.

24 hour Laundry facilities are available on the Park and include automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Each caravan has its own parking space allocated next to it and there is also a separate car park provided for extra cars and visitors.

The Park has a shop/reception where all daily requirements including newspapers, bread, milk, groceries, frozen food, confectionery, etc is available. There is also a small lending library where books may be borrowed if required.

Dogs are welcome, but are limited to one dog per caravan and must not be left in the caravan on their own. We also ask that all dogs be kept on a lead whilst in the vicinity of the Park. 50 yards away is a public footpath leading through woods and fields and down to the beach where there is plenty of room for them to be exercised, etc and Parkhurst Forest is only a short distance away.
